Position Summary
As a Plumbing Remodel Helper at Aelott, you’ll work alongside experienced plumbers and assist with residential plumbing remodel and light construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with some plumbing experience who wants to continue developing their skills and build a career in the trade.
You’ll help prepare jobs, install and remove plumbing materials and fixtures, maintain a clean and organized worksite, and support the lead plumber in completing projects safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead plumber with residential remodel and plumbing projects.
- Help install, repair, and replace plumbing piping, fixtures, and appliances.
- Assist with rough-in and finish plumbing for kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home remodels.
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and materials.
- Prepare work areas and keep jobsites clean and safe.
- Follow directions from the lead plumber and work effectively as part of a team.
- Help identify and communicate jobsite issues or material needs.
- Follow local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in good condition.
- Accurately document work performed and materials used when required.
- Provide professional and respectful service to customers while working in their homes.
- Be willing to learn new plumbing skills and take on additional responsibilities as experience grows.
Qualifications

Approximately 1 year of plumbing, plumbing helper, remodel, or construction experience preferred, but not required.
- Residential remodeling or light construction experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of plumbing tools, materials, and installation practices.
- Willingness to learn and develop plumbing skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a lead plumber and other team members.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Professional attitude and good communication skills.
- Comfortable working in residential homes and maintaining a clean, respectful jobsite.
- Able to lift materials and perform physical work throughout the day.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software is a plus.
